Synchro by Egor is hiring a Helpdesk Support Technician to work with a public entity, providing support for computer applications in the medical field, in Porto.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The primary objective of this role is to provide first-line technical support to institutions under the Ministry of Health, ensuring efficient service delivery and the management of incidents and service requests.

Customer Service and Technical Support

  • Handle incoming and outgoing calls to resolve technical and functional issues in the healthcare sector;
  • Record and track all incidents on the platform provided by the client;
  • Provide support to users, ensuring high-quality, solution-oriented service.

Incident and Service Request Management

  • Use the ITSM (ticketing) platform to handle incidents, events, and service requests;
  • Correctly classify and categorize incidents;
  • Analyze, diagnose, and resolve issues whenever possible, escalating them to the appropriate teams when necessary;
  • Ensure compliance with established procedures and service levels.

LOCATION AND SCHEDULE

  • Work location: Porto;
  • Rotating 8-hour shifts, operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (24/7).

REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma (minimum);
  • Proven experience in IT Technical Support or Application Support roles (required);
  • Willingness to work 24/7 shifts;
  • Experience using ITSM/ticketing platforms;
  • Experience in application support in the healthcare field, in a hospital setting, primary care, or the private sector (preferred);
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

CONDITIONS

  • Base salary of €964 €9 overtime pay Attendance bonus = up to €50.00;
