Synchro is currently recruiting a Senior Financial Controller to join its Finance team in Lisbon.

MISSION

To ensure financial analysis and management control of operations in Portugal, guaranteeing the reliability of financial information, explaining variances from actual figures, and supporting senior management in decision-making.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct analysis of variances between actual results and forecasts (actuals vs. budget/forecast)
• Execute and monitor service billing processes in Portugal;
• Develop recurring and ad hoc financial analyses to support management;
• Prepare reports and presentations for senior management

• Ensure the accuracy and consistency of the financial information produced;

• Collaborate with internal teams to clarify and validate financial data;

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial control processes;

• Support activities related to PYI and financial performance analysis.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field;
• Professional experience in financial control or financial analysis roles (preferred);
• Solid knowledge of accounting and financial reporting;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (required);
• Experience with financial analysis tools and/or dashboards (preferred);
• Fluency in English (required);
• Fluency in Portuguese (required);
• Analytical skills, precision, and attention to detail;
• Proactivity, autonomy, and critical thinking;
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
