SYNCHRO HEALTH, an EGOR Group company dedicated to providing healthcare services and care, is recruiting a General Nurse to work at a senior living facility in the Vila Nova de Gaia area.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The primary responsibilities of the successful candidate will include:
- Providing general nursing care in a senior living facility, specifically:
- Monitoring and caring for residents;
- Preparing and administering medications according to clinical prescriptions;

Measuring blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and weight; performing blood glucose and oxygen saturation tests; and recording the data.
- Collaborating with physicians by preparing the necessary supplies and medications.
- In the doctor’s absence, inform residents and/or family members about the resident’s health status.
- Organize medical records and document all relevant data pertaining to their duties.
- Provide care to residents who are bedridden due to illness, monitoring residents’ nutrition and directly feeding those who require assistive devices.
- Supervise and assist with the physical activities prescribed by the doctor, noting any incidents that may arise during their performance.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing;
- Registration with the Nursing Board;
- Previous experience in a senior residential care setting;
- Immediate availability.
WHAT WE OFFER
- Contract-based employment, based on availability and the needs of the service;
- Shifts from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.
