We are recruiting a part-time Shop Assistant to work with an International Foundation, based in Portugal, linked to art, science, education and charity, in Lisbon.
Duties:
- Face-to-face service: General information, arranging appointments (Administration; different units);
- Answering the telephone (requesting general information; transferring calls);
- Handling requests for information via e-mail;
- Selling items; exchanging/returning items; placing damaged items in the warehouse for scrap; making repair requests;
- Selling tickets for exhibitions (permanent and temporary exhibitions) and seasons;
- Tidying up and organizing the Stores space during the respective public opening period (daily replenishment);
- Receiving and checking Store and Publication items (including checking labels and quantities according to the guides accompanying these materials);
- Daily printing of labels with the prices of the articles and placing the prices on the acrylic displays;
- Tidying up and organizing the Stores\' warehouses;
- Ensuring the daily replenishment of the Brochure Displays;
- Receiving, registering and delivering internal and external mail.
Working hours and location:
- Part-time 5 hours a day from 1pm to 6pm.
- Monday to Sunday with two rotating days off;
- Workplace: Central Lisbon with easy access to the transport network.
Requirements:
- Minimum qualifications: 12th grade (compulsory);
- Experience in the areas of customer service (compulsory);
- Fluent in Portuguese and English;
- With a sense of responsibility and ease of interpersonal relationships;
- User-friendly computer skills.
- Proactivity, dynamism and versatility;
- Willingness to start work immediately.
