SynchroTech is recruiting an Android Developer for a client company with technology hubs in Lisbon, Porto and Braga. This opportunity is only available in Lisbon and Porto.

ROLE

  • Adapt Android to create a personalized experience.
  • Improve system performance, collaborating with hardware teams to ensure compatibility and efficiency.
  • Use Kotlin and Android SDK to create advanced applications for user-facing products, among others.
  • Create Android interfaces following best practices and design patterns for an optimized experience.
  • Analyze and continuously improve application performance and resource usage.
  • Work with Scrum teams to overcome technical challenges and ensure project success.
  • Ensure continuous integration and rigorous testing while maintaining high quality standards.

LOCATION AND HOURS

  • Lisbon and Porto;
  • 40h/week;
  • Hybrid regime.

REQUIREMENTS

  • More than 3 years\' experience as an Android programmer.
  • Proficiency in Kotlin and Android SDK (Eclipse/Android Studio).
  • Knowledge of embedded Android and operating system architecture.
  • Experience with C and familiarity with other low-level programming languages, essential for system-level development.
  • Familiarity with Java OOP, JSON/REST APIs and multithreading.
  • Android UI development following good practices and standards.
  • Ability to analyze and optimize application performance and resources.
  • Implement and adopt agile methodologies, especially Scrum, to optimize processes and promote high team performance.
  • Apply advanced DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD, to ensure continuous development and deployment.
  • Willingness to travel short distances abroad to support the product development cycle.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written); German is a plus.
